Dear Child…

Dear Child, I called your Name,
Why do you Hide ?, it isn’t a game,
Dear Child, you are old for your years,
Why do you Hide ?, is it the Fears ?,
Dear Child, I give you my hand,
Do not Hide, be Free from this land,
Dear Child, let me share the Love,
Do not Hide, I am guided from above,

Dear Child, I can clearly see,
You are here, running to me,
Dear Child, take my hand,
You are here, Free from this land,
Dear Child, I feel your pain,
You are here, my Love will not wane,
Dear Child, let me lift your eyes,
You are here, I’ll ease your sighs.

Dear Child, too young to suffer this pain,
I will not let you see it again.

To the children of our Future, and our Dream To Be Free.

Elephant Rumble.

The red dust blew across the plain,
Covering their tracks, none to remain,
Giants of our modern day,
We really need you to stay.

The water sprayed across your soul,
Praying that you remained whole,
The enormity of your body mesmerises,
The fear that no-one realises.

A family, with little ones’ too,
An amazing sight just for you,
Grey leather tinged with dust,
Their Survival is a must.

The Elephant Rumble is on its way,
Alive with Protection to live today,
The Rangers watch with their Heart,
For the Giants, not to part.

Save Our Elephants For Our Tomorrow – Let’s End Their Sorrow.

Wonderful Life

The morning wakes you with the smile of the sun,
The perfect start for a day that has begun,
The birds join in with a chirp and a tune,
To let you know your rise is due soon.

The scent of the air is delicately sweet,
From the blooms that bees are pleased to meet,
The sky is adorned with bright delight,
We are truly blessed with this beautiful sight.

It’s a Wonderful Life for all to adore,
From the countryside to the seashore,
Whether there are brambles, or a seashell,
They’re all fine examples of all that’s well.

It’s a Wonderful Life this breath of air,
This World of Loving and Equal Share,
Human beings at their best,
You can imagine the rest.

The night-time calls with an evening star,
The twinkling locator of where we are,
The hoot of the owl ends the day,
The chickens nestle in their coups of hay.

Another day over in this wondrous Life,
Even glorious in both joy and strife,
Starting the day with a precious smile,
And it’s closure, dreaming for a while.

It’s A Wonderful Life.

Will I ever see you again ?

When I was little I saw you in the Zoo,
You “smiled” to say “how do you do?”,
You were tall, And also small,
Bald, and furry too,
When I was little I saw you in the Zoo.

When I was an adult I saw you in the Safari Park,
You ran free from dawn until dark,
You were striped and spotted too,
I was allowed to photograph you,
Yet your smile was hard to see,
When I was an adult had you forgotten me ?.

Now I am old and going grey,
I’m looking around,and I’m sorry to say -,
Will I ever see you again?,
Did the poachers ever refrain?,
You were all my pets you see,
You meant the World to me.

Will I ever see you again ? Do not let this happen to our wonderful world.
